A Tranquil Riverside Experience for Nature Lovers.

Enjoy a memorable break away of utter peace and tranquillity in a secluded, blissful, natural setting.

Zen Afrique is a large country house situated on a secluded Bushveld farm on the banks of the picturesque and pristine little Scheerpoort River near Hartbeespoortdam. This hidden treasure offers the perfect antidote to the stresses of modern life and a welcome escape from the noise and the hustle and bustle of city living. The establishment is accessed via a 1,5 km gravel road.

On offer are five self-catering suites of varying sizes, all with en suite bathrooms and fully equipped kitchenettes. Each suite also has its own small private verandah. The communal swimming pool and lapa with braai is for the use of all guests. In this quiet and tranquil setting consideration towards other guests is required at all times and no loud music or excessive noise is permitted.

We will gladly consider exclusive bookings for special occasions (up to 12 guests staying over at any time) and we can also host workshops or team building events.

"The place is very peaceful. If you want to be away from the busy life and enjoy a relaxing holiday, its the perfect place to be. I had a peaceful and romantic moment with my partner. The place and bedding is clean. Hot water is always available.I was very impressed with the treatment weve received. A day before check-in we received a call from Jay (very friendly) offering us help if well need any, even offered the usage of his car should a need arise. He gave the directions, On the day we missed a turn and called him, he said we should hang-up so that he can call us. He followed ups with calls until we arrived at the placeMy partner and I had a peaceful and romantic time, Thank u so much JayWere looking forward to come back again and again."

"I wasn't happy with our stay there but because we had already paid there wasn't anything we could do.If we could we would definitely go back home.The bed was extremely uncomfortable. You could feel the bed springs while sleeping. We were given one one ply toilet roll throughout the weekend. No one came to clean the rooms not once."

"Me and my husband needed a quiet weekend away from the city life and Zen Afrique gave us more than that. The place is beautiful from inside out, the rooms are fully equipped with everything you could ever need, a very lovely setup with such stunning decor, It's got beautiful gardens, a lovely patio with a braai area also has a swimming pool.Zen Afrique is the place to be!"
