"Friends and I visited Knysna together for the first time ever. It was a lovely, peaceful and blissful experience at The Winlow Lagoon View. Thank you to the owners Winston and Lorna for a marvelously clean, beautiful and peaceful experience we will never forget. We are surely to return in the near future. The weather was chilly but the house was so warm, homely and had all the bells and whistles we needed for a pure idyllic long weekend stay. Self catering to the max "

"The six of us (Jo-mari, Louis, Scott, Tarryn, Dalton and Denton) were soaking wet when we arrived at Winlow Lagoon on our superbikes, because of the rainstorm that hit us near George. But we were greeted with a smile by Winston and Lorna. We found a heater and dried what we could (for a short while). The place is neat, warm and comfortable. The couple asked us whether or not we needed anything more and offered an extra rack to hang our gloves on. Winston even extended our stay the Sunday morning until 13:00 should the weather not hold, at no extra cost. He is indeed a fantastic host. Absolutely beautiful place to watch the sunset and just relax after a long year of slaving about. The house rules are simple and easy to follow. Our belongings were safe. The birds in the trees kept us company - we are big animal and bird lovers. The house is situated in a beautiful part in Knysna and we loved walking about. For travellers with minimum baggage the house is indeed very well equipped and very clean (loved the books; didn't have time for the games however lol!). Thank you to Lorna and Winston for allowing us a glimpse into your world...we will be back, we promise!"
