Thula Meetse means Quiet Water. It is a well-established lodge situated in prime bushveld. It is nestled in the heart of the malaria free Waterberg Mountain and boasts the most amazing views.

We offer luxury self-catering chalets with magnificent views ideal for romantic couples and groups. We have a children's playground, swimming pool, 4x4 routes, walking and quad trails. Thula Meetse Mystical Mountain Lodge is the ideal place for a weekend getaway or a small private conference or product launch.

Summertime presents visitors with rushing streams and lush vegetation, while winter offers warm days and crisp evenings. We are privileged to have a 19 m waterfall which flows most months of the year and is most spectacular during high rainfall periods. This is a birders paradise with over 40 varieties of bird species seen in the area.

"The caretaker Lynette is very helpful and gave excellent service.However,is this a place for people that want to do nothing .We went there with our quad bikes only to discover that the road in the lodge where the route is in such a condition that one cannot drive there and I suggest that it should be maintained for guests to be able to use it to drive there with there..which we could not and specifically asked with my booking if we could?We also noticed that there is renovations on the chalets going on and we were in a rather badly maintained house which was also disappointing for the money paid.If you need wood you pay R25 a bag which is very pricey for the area as it is sold for R8 at some places alongside the road.If you want your chalet cleaned you must pay extra for dishes only you pay R45 which I found too much as I paid over R2100 a night and this should be included in the price?Breakfast was R80 and dished up for you.The place is not child friendly at all,no place to play and one must watch them 24/7 due to that."
