Overview
The Tops in Hunt's Lane, nestled against the slopes of the Wilderness Heights, affords any visitor one of the most spectacular vistas in the world. It offers a view of the sparkling Indian Ocean, where the dolphins and the whales can be seen cavorting; off white, sandy shores and the Touw River Mouth with its sluggish cola-colored waters. The Tops is the place for the outdoor-loving tourist, for the depressed and the stressed.

Our B&B section consists of 3 en-suite rooms ( popular with honeymooners) which open on to private wooden balconies\decks where a sumptuous breakfast can be enjoyed. We have the perfect room for the more adventurous guests. There is a bag lift to take your luggage to your room. All en-suite rooms have sea-views

Our self-catering section consists of 3 studios, bachelor's flats, each one leading on to a deck through wide sliding doors offering not only a magnificent view, but also facilities, deck furniture and portable braai, for a private barbeque. One can see the sun and the moon rising over the ocean and setting behind the hills from here. The kitchenette and lounge are well equipped, TVs and large showers are available.

"Wonderful Holiday!!!"

"We stayed at The Tops, hosted by Tom @ Magda. All I can say is that they made our holiday unforgettable. The accommodation was amazing, the food exceptional, the view out of this world and the hosts were absolutely phenomenal. I recommend this B&B to anyone going to George, Knysna or Wilderness. Thank you for making our holiday so awesome!"

"Warm hospitality and we were well looked after. With Tom and Magda you felt nothing you asked for would be too much trouble"
"Poor room with great view"

"The view from the balcony is stunning! But the room itself is not great at all. We had a self-catering studio. It was damp and hot and there was disgusting mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and over the bed. There was no aircon, just a little portable fan. The room heats up like a sauna in the early morning hours and we woke up soaked in sweat at 7am every morning. There is no WIFI connection in the room, only in public areas, i.e. outside. Equipment for the kitchenette and bathroom were basic. The 2 plate stove was dirty. A little soap and shampoo and that grey, hard recycle toilet paper but no fan and no sufficient light in the bathroom. Fresh towels are only provided every 4 days as it's apparently industry standard for 3 star guest houses.A good thing apart from the view: The studio is suitable for guests with handicap as the bathroom is fitted with huge, over-sized handles and there's a lift to get up to the studios, so no stairs need to be taken."

"It was a welcoming experience, we stayed for 3 nights, the views are breath taking, the studio is great to sleep in and all you hear is the sea.Waking up to those views was definitely memorable, will propose it to anyone looking for a get away with scenic views."

"The incredible service and room was only matched by the phenominal view! Even the wet weather didn't put a damper on our experience."
