"The bed was comfortable, the room was gorgeous and cosy, and we had privacy to braai our own dinner and just take time to look and listen to all the birds. The dogs were fantastic! The two little ones escorted us everywhere, showing us the walking trail. It was so quiet and comfortable and I was thrilled to see the chickens doing chicken-things and the sheep being sheepy. The owner explained well how the electricity and gas worked and I learned a fair amount about farming and off-grid life. I was thrilled to get a clear photo of a blue waxbill.Thank you for a wonderful stay! Even though we were both sick with colds we had a fantastic time and felt right at home! Will be there every year from now on!"

"We love the place because it has the privacy we need. Jenny should have warned us beforehand that they've gone green.It was as if they didn't know the place was booked - we got there and they had to work on switching the lights and gas stove on. Then the TV wasn't programmed. There was no microwave, no frying pan. We had to ask for those. The place needs a revamp."

"We arrived at the farm on the 12th of June. We were greeted by Isaac and shown to our accommodation. We stayed for about an hour and the place was not up to standard. I will not elaborate because standards and perceptions differ, but we decided to leave. Jenny was very understanding and had Isaac gave us back our money. We left. I later sent an email to have our deposit paid back, but up to now, I have not heard anything. I do not view this as a cancellation, therefore the cancellation fee does not apply. More photos of the surroundings is also maybe a necessity to make an informed decision."

"Our stay at the farm was peaceful and most enjoyable. The cottage is beautifully appointed and very private. Jenny was very helpful and patient too. "Jenny, your place was awesome and we will definitely make use of the farm house again. It was so relaxing, just what the doctor ordered. We needed that break more than you know. You and your staff were so friendly and we think you can be proud of that little place. It is really stunning; you must also be complimented on the quality of the service you offered us! "It was tough getting there with Safari directions but Jenny was a great help. The place was great, neatly tucked away in the farm and private. Had a fire made for us on the last night. Great atmosphere,a lot of attractions around, especially for hikers and adrenalin junkies. Thanks."

"We had a wonderful time. Thanks so much for the excellent service and attention to detail. Jenny was also very accomodating with checking in and out times. The cottage is well equipped and perfect for a weekend away for two. It was cozy and secluded and we were able to relax and forget about the big city for a short time."
