Tambuti Lodge - Pilanesberg

Tambuti Lodge is a Big 5 private game lodge set in the northwestern side of the greater Pilanesberg National Park, surrounded by the trees of an old tambuti forest within the Black Rhino Game Reserve. Set in pristine African wilderness at the foot of an ancient volcanic crater, Tambuti Lodge offers guests an intimate and luxurious safari experience.

Tambuti Lodge offers guests a choice of five luxury chalets which are beautifully decorated and equipped with fans or air-conditioning for comfort. The bedrooms are furnished with king-size beds or twin beds and each room has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, as well as an outdoor shower. Some of the suites have a sleeper couch and all the suites are equipped with TVs with DStv, bar fridges, tea and coffee facilities and safes for valuables. Guests can relax on their private decks and enjoy the bush views. All meals, teas and snacks, as well as dusk and dawn safaris in open Land Rovers are included.

Guests can relax next to the inviting swimming pool, in the cosy TV lounge with its fireplace, or enjoy a sundowner in the bar. The lodge also has a business centre with free Wi-Fi Internet access, and guests can sit around the boma and experience the starry skies at night. Two daily game drives are conducted by an experienced nature guide, but please note that children are permitted on drives at the discretion of the game ranger. Guests can also enjoy guided bush walks which offer the birdwatcher, botanist and nature enthusiast the ultimate bush experience. Unfortunately no people under the age of 16 years are permitted to join the game walks. Please note that game walks are subject to availability and guests are asked to request this activity at the time of booking their accommodation.
