"Although my booking was clearly confirmed for two adults and one minor, the guesthouse claimed it was for one adult only. My daughter had to sleep on a mattress on the floor - not good. Furthermore the dining area is in the "bar" we had to sit with a minor in the "bar" area while other visitors was smoking. There is no extraction nor facility for non-smokers to enjoy their meal in a smoke free environment."

"The room was great and the overall experience very good. The setting is wonderful. We had the best breakfast of our entire stay, and we had some good ones. However, there was only one towel for the two of us and was then very disappointed by their attitude when I asked for another towel. First they insisted there were two towels and eventually brought a very damp towel, which never dried out overnight, and apologised for running out. "both" the tumble driers had broken down. Not good but I will definitely stay there again."

"Upington is just a bit hot in summer.The venue is great and the air-conditioning helped a lot.Air-conditioning in the bar/restaurant area will be a good idea."
