"We were accommodated in a cottage not actually listed on the site. It was quaint and cosy, but not quite up to the standard I expected based on the marketing. The second bedroom was particularly small. The Valley Lodge is enclosed by an electric fence which is not very appealing, with quite a bit of litter around it. We could really have used a chopping board in the kitchen. Nonetheless we had a pleasant weekend out of the city."

"What a wonderful break my mother and I had. We will definately come back.You really looked after us well.The breakfast and the chef host were wonderful.He specially made me a vegetarian meal.Lebo looked after us well...always smiling.Pieter and hannelie there 24/7 to help with any issues.Even out braai was cleaned every day.And we felt safe leaving out doors open. Thank you all so much"

"It was our early 1 year anniversary and booked the Valley Suite as they said is was spacious and romantic. We then got put in another unit after asking if it was the Valley Suite. We were very disappointed as it was not the unit I had in mind. Only a day later I realised that we were in the wrong unit. They wanted to rectify the problem with a complimentary bottle of wine, but that was not good enough. They then offered us a free weekend next year in the Valley Suite. I just don't understand how this could have happend as we asked if it was the Valley Suite and they said yes. Very disappointed but worked out well as we received a free weekend ."

"Had a relaxing time here overnight. Would have preferred a better view of the countryside from our room, but otherwise a good stay.Enjoyed the free range eggs that were offered to us.Some minor issues with the bill payment but since sorted. I also believe the condition of the road to the resort should be properly communicated."

"We booked the Homestead for my birthday weekend and although the weather did not allow for the use of all the wonderful facilities we did "camp" in front of the fireplace and still had an amazing time! We will definitely be back in the summer!!"
