Southern Right Lodge - Hermanus

Southern Right Lodge is situated at the foot of the Raed Na Gael mountain range overlooking Hermanus and Walker Bay. You can enjoy the Fernkloof Nature Reserve with its unique fynbos, and from June to December our gentle giants - the Southern Right Whales - can be seen in the waters of Walker Bay. We are superior rated by the AA Quality Assured Accommodation Programme.

Southern Right Lodge offers four generous en-suite rooms with queen-size beds and separate entrances. Families with children can request additional cots if required. Our rooms are very comfortable and equipped with TVs, refrigerators, hairdryers and tea and coffee-making facilities. Our large, hearty breakfast buffet, clear blue swimming pool in a landscaped garden and our terrace all boast beautiful views over the 27-hole Hermanus Golf Course and Walker Bay.

Voelklip Beach has lovely lawns and is a great place for surfing and body boarding. Grotto Beach, with its stretched sandy shore, is ideal for beach volleyball and other beach events. Diving, shark observation, jet ski rental, a boat and surfboard charter are all available to complete your holiday.
