"In dire need of maintenance"

"This cute little hotel is in desperate need of some tender love and care. The "modern" rooms are comfortable but not well looked after. The curtains were dirty, the patio light was not working. There was no way to complain about the malfunctioning TV remote since no person was to be found in the reception during the early evening although it was meant to be open until 22h00. The carpark in front of the rooms is unpaved and VERY muddy during rainy season. Not nice having to take off your shoes before stepping into your room in order to avoid the carpet being fully covered in mud."
"A great little hotel"

"We stayed here because it was close to the Spionkok Battlefield and the Royal Natal Park. Hospitality, meals and service was great. The only problem we had was finding the hotel from the directions given on the website. The roadside signing and directions supplied needs to be improved.Access road may be difficult in wet weather."

"The mountain and nature view from our Balcony. The reception and assistance from the staff. Wow our stay was very comfortable especially The room that has so much space to move around including the choice in their bathroom (shower & bath tub). We had a wonderful stay."

"staff was well responsive in making our stay fine. They were able to quickly attend to an issue as well. Just a little more attention to detai, I feel is needed in ensuring that the rooms are properly cleaned. Otherwise...Thanks for everything."
"Superb Staff"

"Accommodation was adequate with all in working order. Dinner was not the best, but this can be expected when ordering from a set menu at an establishment that does not have huge numbers coming through the doors. Breakfast was good and freshly prepared with a good continental spread. The Sandford Park is blessed with exceptional staff, friendly, efficient and always ready to go the extra mile!"

"Value for Money"

"Rooms are a little "tired" but are clean and have all the necessities. The hotel is a little dated, but the staff are incredibly helpful and attentive. Dinner was affordable and good quality. Breakfast was more than sufficient and pleasant. Most of all I did not feel feeling cheated or ripped-off. A good stay."

"We enjoyed our stay at Sandford Park Country Hotel. I can agree with some of the comments made about having a bar fridge in the rooms. In general our stay was very nice. The hotel should attend to cleaning their carpets in the rooms on a regular basis. Our room's carpet was very dirty, we realised this when our 8 month baby played on the floor, her white leggings was dirty and that confirmed why my wife was itching during our stay there. Those with babies please be careful when booking a room, make sure the carpets gets cleaned if your baby loves playing or crawling on the floor."
"Good place, good food"

"I really enjoyed my stay at Sandford. The executive room was neat but could use some improvements like a bar fridge and more dstv channels. The staff were friendly especially Ntokozo who made our stay exceptional. I would definitely visit again."
