River Crossing is set on 100 acres of land with magnificent, panoramic views of the lush farmlands of the Champagne Valley, Cathkin Peak and Champagne Castle.
We have four two bedroom self catering suites, as well as two semi self catering double rooms that have a bar fridge, microwave and basic tea and coffee facilities. Each of the self catering suites has its own open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchenette.
All bedrooms have en suites with showers and the main room in one of the units has a bath as well. Guests have access to a swimming pool and can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the mountains.
Situated in the Central Drakensberg, which forms part of a World Heritage Site, River Crossing is bounded by both the Mtoti and the Sterkspruit rivers. Local, frequently spotted reedbuck and duiker take their refuge in the surrounding riverine vegetation.

"The unit was lovely and clean. Was welcomed by Michelle and her advise and info on places to visit was very helpful. The mountain view from the unit and bedrooms was stunning. Would have been nice the optional breakfast advertised was offered..Just an ant issue in the kitchen. Could not leave open foods or anything sweet. Would have been nice if indian channels eg Glow was an option to watch. We did have a lovely stay and would go again."
