"We spent 4 days at the lodge and could have stayed longer. The staff were exceptional in making us feel part of a newly found family. The lodge is neat and tidy, the food is very good and the tranquility outstanding. The lodge did their best to find animals on game drives, and we did see a lot. We can recommend this lodge anytime for a weekend stay and preferably longer. We will definitely be back soon!"

"Nice and clean room and very good food. People working at the lodge are very polite and kindly address any guest request. The location of the lodge is nice too.The name of the lodge may be confusing for people from abroad since the lodge is not exactly inside the Pilanesberg Park but in a private reserve."

"Amazing stay at Pilanesberg Private Lodge"
15 Jan 2014
By Natalie, England
"We had an absolutely great time at Pilanesberg Private Lodge. Over the course of our 4-night stay, we saw tons of animals - lion, elephant, rhino, giraffe, zebra, kudu and more. Our guide Warwick was very knowledgeable and was able to get very close viewings of the animals, including a lion kill! The lodge itself was beautiful with a great view of a watering hole where we were able to watch a herd of elephants bathing on our first day. The walking safari was a great addition to our stay; we were able to get a different perspective on the bush and were lucky enough to see 3 black rhino in the wild. The food was excellent, as was the service. It met all of my expectations and beyond - I definitely recommend Pilanesberg Private lodge."
