Pecanwood is situated on 50 acres of prime land with spectacular views, approximately 15 km outside Pietermaritzburg in picturesque, tranquil Birnam Wood. With rolling green lawns, tree-covered hills, forestation, and views of the Drakensberg, this is truly a very relaxed setting.

Accommodation comprises en-suite Double Rooms, a lovely Honeymoon Suite and a Country Cabin sleeping up to four guests. All units feature en-suite bathrooms, tea and coffee-making facilities, heaters and fans, with the Honeymoon Suite also boasting a lovely spa bath, double shower, and double outdoor shower.

Enjoy amazing sunsets from the sun deck over the dam or relax after a busy day in the country pub. We also offer two function venues as well as a chapel on site, ideal for an unforgettable wedding, and our dedicated staff will ensure that you can indeed conference with confidence.
