"The van Gogh room we stayed in was quaint but had its problems with the shower flooding and the bathroom light not working. Mark the owner was obliging and was there to sort the problem out. The meal in the restaurant was good and the breakfast was good."

"Room was very good, peaceful setting and protected balcony. Bed very comfortable. Although everything there for self catering there is no counter space to work on.Restaurant is on same premises which is handy, you get no restaurant noise though and still have privacy."

"If you haven't had Pascal's cheesecake, you have not had cheesecake! We stayed in Van Gogh for two nights. The place was really neat and very clean. The restaurant serves excellent food. Napier is an interesting town, but also a great spot to explore the surroundings from."

"Was 'n heerlike naweek. Baie mooi. Baie vriendelike werknemers en gasvry. Het baie tuis gevoel.Heerlike heerlike kos. Baie mooi tuin met hoender'tjies, eende en die pragtige vols in die bome. Die oulike honde wat in ons kamer kom slapies het. En dan die belangrikse; die pragtige Pascal homself het ook vir ons kom kuier.Baie dankie."
