"We enjoyed the calm environment and that we were far from the city. We firstly had to put the single beds together because there no double beds in the rooms. I was also disappointed that we were a couple of 3 but there were only 2 bedrooms in the chalet we booked even though I informed the owner that there are 3 couples coming. The other beds were next to the stairs with no privacy whatsoever. Overall, the lodge was okay."
"A letdown I am afraid."

"The security is a major concern. We were locked up the entire weekend in a camp compound without keys to get in and out. I asked about a gamedrive and was told there would be one the following day - nobody arrived and an sms sent to ask if we could drive to the hide went unanswered and we remained locked in with nothing to do. We just lay on our double bed. We saw three wildebeest walk past the compound. It was a little strange frankly. Such a pity as driving there it seemed the area was beatifull. The owners were very friendly when we arrived but we never saw them again untill we had to call the day we left to try and get out of the locked compound. We sort of felt like prisoners. The chalet was tidy and clean but not well appointed. No cutting knife and very little crockery. We could not wait for the weekend to end and were so looking foward to a lovely bush weekend :("

"It's a beautiful place indeed. The staff and owners were very helpful and friendly.I would recommend it in future perhaps if they could add with the TV in the rooms for a better option."

"The Lodge is clean & tidy. The owners are very friendly & their hospitality were awesome. The atmosphere at this Lodge is pure tranquility, you become one with nature, no distractions and a peaceful rest. Although some additions to this Lodge would make travelers stay more convenient, clock radio in each room, laundry basket. At the pool area a lounge with a big screen TV for those sports enthusiasts, who love to watch rugby."

"But the owner or caretaker is rude and he doesn't know how to speak to ppl he kept shouting and shouting at us while he fail to give the rules of the place.even he first day on our check we came late and he was rude on the phone and he hang up on my ear even when we leave he refuses to open the gate demanding that we pay extra.I will never go back to that place I was so uncomfortable the whole weekend of my staying and I will never recommend it to anyone"

"The camp was clean and well laid out. The accommodation was cozy and well equipment. Staff very friendly and helpful, Bertus in particular, went out of his way to make our stay pleasant. Very quiet and peaceful, just what we needed to chill-out."
