Morokolo Safari Lodge is situated on the northern slopes of the Pilanesberg Mountains in the Black Rhino Game Reserve, recently incorporated into the Pilanesberg National Park, and boasts one the richest varieties of African wildlife, predators, fauna & flora in Africa. We are a small, private lodge, tucked away from the rest of the world.

We have a 4 Suite Lodge and a 5 Suite Lodge bookable on an exclusive use basis.
The 4 Suite lodge consists of 3 double suites and 1 Family Suite. The double suites sleep two people (double or twin), and the family suite sleeps 2 people (double or twin) downstairs, and 2 children (twin) in the open loft. All the suites are spacious and fully air-conditioned. This lodge can sleep a maximum of 8 adults and 2 children under 11.
The 5 Suite Lodge consists of 3 x luxury double/twin Suites, 1 x Family Suite and 1 x Executive Suite. The double suites sleep 2 people (double or twin), the family suite sleeps 2 people (double or twin) downstairs, and 2 children (twin) in the open loft and the Executive Suite can sleep 2 adults in a Queen and there is a sleeper couch for a young child to share. All the suites are spacious and fully air-conditioned. This lodge can sleep a maximum of 10 adults and 3 children.
Each suite has an ample en-suite bathroom with modern finishes (with bath and shower), comfy seating area and private patio. There is a mini bar in each room, but is not stocked as this is a self-catering lodge only. There are tea and coffee facilities in each suite.
The main entertainment area is open plan, and has a lounge with a TV, DSTV and DVD player, a beautiful bar area with pool table and various board games, and an outside patio area that seats up to ten people.
We have covered parking for eight vehicles.
Our lodge can sleep a maximum of 10 adults and 3 young children.
Buffalo regularly roam in this area as they take shelter in remote areas not accessible to other visitors to Pilanesberg National Park. Characterized by a beautiful forest of Tamboti trees and regular sightings of the bad tempered Black Rhino, the Black Rhino Reserve is home to the BIG 5 (Lion, Leopard, Buffalo, Elephant, and White & Black Rhino) as well as cheetah and wild dog. Antelope species include Sable, Tsetsebe, Eland, Gemsbok and Springbok. With a species list of over 354, the Black Rhino Reserve is also a true "birders paradise".

Included in your daily rate is 1 game drive per night booked. Additional Game drive is available at an extra cost of R2950 per drive. Conservation levies are charged extra.
