Mabula Game Lodge is easily accessible from either Johannesburg or Pretoria the drive time is just two hours from either city. On arrival, guests enter the wonderful world of the bushveld as the malaria-free landscape of Limpopo rolls out before them.

Nestling in the shelter of the Waterberg Mountains, Mabula is known for the diversity of its habitats which range from savannah to rocky outcrops. Hilltops such as the famous Christmas Hill offer superb views and settings for sundowners, while Mabulas many dams provide tranquil settings in which to enjoy a tea and coffee break during the morning game drive. The diversity of habitats at Mabula helps to explain the wide range of species that are found here, including all of the Big 5.

"The Game Drive"
15 Feb 2019
By Agnes Hio
"The guide, Nuria, was amazing. She knew what she was doing. The FIRST shuttle bus service was horrible though. The other staff were also wonderful, but the air-con's blue light made it hard for my friend to sleep through with. Water should be provided at the dinner as a bare necessity, rather than just tea. Grateful for that we made it back safely, though. Thanks, Mabula Game Lodge crew."
"The game drives with Solly"

"We spent only one night at the Lodge, but Solly made sure that we could see the best... Cheetah kill, we arrived just after the kill took place, poor impala was still kicking. But what a magnificent sighting!"

"Mabula was recommended by a friend and she was absolutely right. I loved it and particularly admired the high level of care for the animals who all looked to be in great condition. The staff all took great trouble to see that every guest felt relaxed and had a great time."
