"My husband booked us in for an overnight stay at Lombardy for our 1st anniversary. When we arrived the receptionist did not have record of us paying for our accommodation when booked 2 months in advance and insisted that we needed to pay. After numerous calls from husband asking them to arrange something special for dinner, they did not do anything. Their menu does not provide you with a lot of choices & then they did not even have the main my husband wanted to order. We arrived at the breakfast, feeling very unwelcome. The hotel is stunning, but unfortunately the poor service spoilt the experience for me."

"Very relaxing, peaceful and private. Well appointed room, with very comfortable bed, and excellent bathroom,, although the air conditioner was loud and TV reception was poor. Food, especially breakfast, very good, although kingklip overcooked."
