Situated in the stunning Little Karoo on top of a hill of 50 hectares looking over the Outeniqua and the Swartberg mountains, Le Petit Karoo Ranch welcomes you in a nature setting that will stay with you for a long time. Le Petit Karoo Ranch offers luxury tents and rooms in a tranquil setting. Whether it be our bush tents, double rooms, family rooms, luxury rooms or luxury tent; every type of accommodation has immediate access to a deck area with extensive panoramic views of the region and breath taking sunsets, free wi-fi and an en-suite bathroom with a Jacuzzi! (except for the luxury tent, there is a spacious shower.) Oudtshoorn is known for it's hot summers! But don't worry! We have a refreshing pool on the premises, where else could you have a 360 degree view of nature whilst in the pool? There is also air-conditioning in all of our rooms (excluding tents.) For winter, all rooms have tea and coffee amenities, electric blankets and heaters!Come have a sundowner at our fully licensed bar, enjoy one of the many magnificent sunsets or watch the news, rugby or even Disney channel on our DSTV.You can book dinner with us, South African cuisine, French-style served in our restaurant inside or on the deck. Breakfast is also served here. No self catering in the rooms, however you may use our braai facilities.Don't forget to book for the annual KKNK (Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunstefees) from 8 to 15 April 2017Free private parking is available on site and the town of Oudtshoorn is 12 km drive away. George Airport is 60 km away.

"The tent units are modern with fantastic views to Schoemanshoek from the bed and patio and from the jacuzzi onto the mointains where the Congo caves were discovered. The comfort of your home in the nature. I would have loved a fridge in the tent, but that may take away the "camping" vibe."

"What a great place. We originally had booked one of the bush tents, however we coincided our visit with a sudden cold snap and Pascal, the owner offered us one of the rooms instaed. He is the perfect host and great chef. The evening meal was excellent. It is a great location and would certainly rebook when we make our next trip to South Africa."

"It is a different experience to normal indoors accommodation obviously. It was a rainy day and that did not help matters much. The curtains blocked the view from the sliding doors as they couldnt open to either side of the window. If you enjoy the outdoors then this is suitable for you. Perhaps we would have liked it if the weather was hot so that we could enjoy the splash pool on the deck."

"Le Petit is the perfect place for a stopover in Oudtshoorn. It's situated perfectly among all the attractions, so it's not far to drive anywhere!Pascal, the owner, was very welcoming and even waited up for us past midnight when we arrived. The rooms are neat and warm, and the breakfast is fantastic! Thank you!"
