Kalm: A Colourful Place to Stay is situated in an older, more established Clarens suburb known as the Swartland, Kalm is within easy walking distance of the village square, and also the surrounding hills for the more energetic.

Guests have a choice of five rooms, all differently and strikingly decorated. Anybodys has a queen-size bed, Somebodys has a double bed and Theirs has an extra length queen-size bed and are B&B rooms with their own tea and coffee-making facilities, enclosed verandah and access to the courtyard and garden. Yours has a queen-size bed and Whose has an extra length queen-size bed and are self-catering units with the option of breakfast. Both have fully equipped kitchenettes, private patios and in addition, whose a free standing cottage at the bottom of the garden has its own fireplace. All rooms have en-suite showers, heating including electric blankets and full bouquet DStv.

The Courtyard Caf is situated close by and is the ideal spot to enjoy a coffee and the vibrant atmosphere. Guests can enjoy various activities in the area, from fly-fishing, golfing, horse riding and quad biking to hot-air ballooning and river rafting. The Golden Gate Nature Reserve is right on Kalms doorstep and is spectacular to drive through, while Johannesburg and Durban are both a three-hour drive away.
