Grootbosch Guest Farm & Venue is a charming lodge and wedding venue in Klerksdorp. With 12 rooms it is ideal for an event or a weekend away from the bustle of the city.
There are 10 Double Rooms which have twin beds and en-suite bathrooms with showers. There are two Family Suites that have two bedrooms each and en-suite bathrooms. The rooms are equipped with TVs and tea and coffee-making facilities.
Grootbosch Guest Farm & Venue caters for weddings of up to 200 people and has its own chapel with a romantic atmosphere. The function hall is large enough to include a dance floor and can be used for birthdays, year-end functions and other special occasions.
The restaurant has magnificent bushveld views to accompany its great cuisine and dining experience. We serve both a la carte and buffet meals.

"Weve been 2 guests but only 1 bath towel !! Please give the bathrooms door hinges some oil. Sheets etc was pure white, eitherdown was warm enough, air conditioning worked perfectly. Roses were pretty. I loved the bird names for the rooms"

"We stayed at the venue for only one night and found the staff very accommodating in that we were only able to book in late on the Friday evening. The rooms were immaculate and the staffwho receivedus friendly.A let down was that fact that the geyser to our roomswas not switched on/or switched on lateby theday staff andwe had no hot water as a result. I contacted the manager on duty and all she did was find out from the staff what was going on, we had no feedback from her then or since. The two ladies on duty (evening staff) tried their best to assist us by supplying hot water from the kitchen (we did have hot water the following morning).Thus far we've had no contact from management/or the ownersat all, which I find unprofessional to say the least.A grand gesture is not expected, but a call or e-mailto apologise for the inconvenience will go a long way. Wewould have recommended the venue to family, but have reconsidered. It is alsorecommended that the owners of Grootbosch Lodge read the comments on TripAdvisor about the venue."
