"Rooms are ok but noisy because they are attached to each other. Food was so so, we had a braai and the meat was overcooked. For the price of the meal you can eat twice a bit further up the road at Tanks bush pub, they have really good meals. This is certainlynot a 4 star place."

"We had a lovely stay at Gecko lodge and applaud the owners for making arrangements so easy on us.Directions given were so clear, Our rooms ready and the activities that we booked in place , the meals were good and received excellent hospitality from the staff over all.everything went smoothly and our first expirence at the Kruger park was spectacular!"

"I had an older but cheaper room. It had everything that I needed. I left at 5.15am every morning to the Kruger Park and only came back at 6.30pm. I had dinner every night at the Gecko Lodge at 7pm and went to bed after. The food was good but the best was the very personal treatment. Staff was very attentive too. Would certainly recommend this to a friend without hesitation."

"Ive always went to visit Kruger Park yearly on a day visit and come back to Highveld Mpumalanga late and very tired. However this time while searching for suitable accommodation with my wife we were firstly impressed by the reasonable quotation and quick feedback from Anja. That was the beginning of our best of the best customer service we received from the Gecko Lodge friendly management and staff. Our stay with Gecko Lodge the past two days was impressive and was finalised by having the best ever breakfast prepared by the husband owner himself. Will surely make use of this facility on our next visit. Having all rooms installed with TVs as rooms of improvement will be good investments.Keep Up The Good Work !"

Nestled against the Sabi river, Gecko Lodge is 'bush splendour' and simplicity that is affordable for a weekend breakawayFriendly, Warm Hospitality and A 'Right at Home' feeling.
