Overview
Etikweni Wildlife Estate is an up-market and spacious self-catering lodge under thatch, where you can feel the heartbeat of the African Bushveld.

There are two en-suite cottages with inter-leading doors that are great for families. The cottages also include a large private veranda, braai area, boma and dining area.

As we are situated only 15km out of town we are close to all amenities and a variety of good restaurants as well as being only about 45min from the World Famous Kruger National Parks Orpen or Phalaborwa gates.

At Etikweni, you can experience the serenity of the Bushveld without any hustle and bustle. Escape from the city to this comfortable haven and watch the beautiful African Sunsets from the comfort of your private boma. At the main Etikweni dam, you can view a wide variety of plains game, zebra, giraffe, waterbuck, kudu, nyala etc as well as an abundance of birdlife going through their daily rituals.

"We had a lovely stay at Etikweni. It is quite isolated, and takes a while to get to via a sometimes difficult dirt road. This is therefore ideal if you want to get away from it all. I would add that the house is not very child friendly as there are no balustrades around the boma area to keep little ones from falling over into the river bed below. All in all a lovely place to stay in the Hoedspruit area."

" Enjoyed every minute.Did not see much game, but that is not what it is all about, just being surrounded by bush, mountains and bird life was enough. Phinias the cleaner was very helpful, cleaned up very nicely & made such we had enough wood.Would go back anytime."
