The large farmhouse kitchen cum family room has underfloor heating and satelite TV. The spaceous, romantic Mayfly Cottage is the unltimate 'honeymoon' destination in the Kamberg Valley. Privately situated in the colourful park-like gardens on the banks of the Nymph Dam adjacent to the lodge. Both venues are tastefully decorated with beautiful antique and old cottage furniture while original fine art, by many well known South African artists, adorn the walls. Fully serviced. This is a fisherman's paradise of 8 kms of wild brown trout waters on the Little Mooi River and 4 well stocked dams are a mere cast away with the trophy Nymph Dam situated in the garden. Or simply chill out, relax and swing in a hammock in peaceful solitude. Geographically 2 hours from Durban, 4 1/2 hours from Johannesburg 30 minutes from the N3. The Giant's Castle and Kamberg Nature Reserves are easy scenic drives and offer some of the best San Rock paintings in the country. The internationally acclaimed Game Pass Shelter in the Kamberg is rated amongst the top 5 rock paintings in the world. "I must say we had the best time ever. We just relaxed and chilled. The staff were very friendly (especially Nelly - she took GREAT care of us. Sue and Graham are wonderful people and went out of their way to make our stay one to remember. I will definitely recommend them. They made us feel at home. The food was GREAT!! The surroundings - very peaceful...."
