Sandra Antrobus, the visionary owner and restorer of Die Tuishuise, has meticulously decorated each house in its own unique theme, adorned with period prints and antique furniture. The result is an ambiance of unassuming elegance, evoking the spirit of the English and Dutch settlers of the turn of the century. Prepare to be transported to a world where the past comes alive, where the present fades away.

"Amazing Dinner"
03 Dec 2019
By Andre Oosthuysen
"We happened to stay at the Victorian Manor on a day when temperatures hit 39 degrees Celsius. The air con in our room seemed to be playing up but we were assisted by Vernon who provided us with a portable fan. Our bathroom did not measure up to the standards we are familiar with elsewhere. The dinner was economical, well prepared and very tasty. The breakfast too was superb. Amos the waiter is a superstar and deserves the greatest praise! All in all, we were happy."

"This is our 2nd trip back to Die Tuishuis, stayed in the Lion House. A nostalgic trip in history of times gone by. Love the attention to detail. This trip we brought my sister from Phoenix Arizona to visit at your amazing hotel. The evening dinner with Amos in attendance was superb. Springbok starter, followed by lamb shank and a superb pineapple upside down pudding with custard."
