"A little piece of country heaven"

"We really enjoyed our stay at Cpirit Dullstroom. The units are large and comfortable. All amenities in working condition and as advertised. The indoor fireplace was a real treat on the colder nights.A couple of things to note:Four of the self catering cottages are all connected, however only numbers 4 and 5 have a water view.Number 6 is a bit small and the darker paint makes it look a bit dungeony, however if you're the moody type, should work perfectly for you.We enjoyed the scenic drive there and the road signs are clear and visible, making the property easy to find. They also have a huge cottage/house big enough to fit a whole big Greek family, with several private areas and a big communal lounge and kitchen.Highly recommended"

"We stayed at C'pirit for three nights over a weekend. Located about 8km on a dirt road outside Dullstroom, it offers serene views and tranquility. If you plan to fish - only fly fishing allowed. Self catering - stock up & bring your supplies with you (braai, microwave & stove). No Vodacom signal."

"The beautiful countryside."

"We loved the big space of the old barn house and sid not expect it to be so. We would however have really appreciated an undercover stoep under which you can sit and braai if it is raining or on very sunny days. It rained almost the whole time which made a braai quite difficult and we had to stay inside. The furniture was also quite old and chair legs was either broken or breaking. The units were also not too clean or cleaned well, as well as almost no cupboard space to unpack in the bedrooms. We also experienced a bit of problems with water pressure in filling the baths, with the first night no water pressure to fill a bath in one of the bathrooms. The owners were however very helpful and also explained that they have had some damage to the units after bad weather after the front entrance door leaked quite badly the first night."

"The road to the destination is atrocious. We were warned however before about that. The parking area is about 100 m from the house where we stayed and walking downhill and uphill carrying luggage was not fun at all. The house looks wonderful from the outside, not so nice inside. The last straw was that there is NO CELL PHONE reception anywhere except if you return to the main road and travel several kilometers back to Dullstroom.. The dams and scenery are beautiful. So if none of the above matters to you, you will enjoy the beautiful surroundings."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cpriit! My husband and I stayed in one of the studios. It was beautifully decorated, cozy, comfy and perfect for a peaceful, romantic weekend! We had firewood for the fireplace everyday, and our studio was cleaned daily as well. The kitchenette was well equipped and we made good use of our Weber braai. If you're planning on driving in and out like we did to town I would recommend a 4x4 or a higher clearance vehicle. Cpirit will definitely see us again! Can't wait for our next visit!!!"

"What agreat find! We booked the Barn House and Fisherman's Cottage No. 1 and everything lived up to expectations. Both the house and the cottage are lovely andI can highly recommend Cpirit Country Haven for a big group, family or romantic getaway. The owners, Sue and Trevor, are very accomodating and their effort in making the place a true 'haven' is visible everywhere. The staff are also very helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back! "

"A wonderful secluded spot. Very quiet and restful. Unfortunately the road is absolutely shocking. We had a terrible puncture. 44 a must!"

"This was fantastic! We had the most wonderful time and the extra complimentary night was just the cherry on the cake.Rustic setting and beautifully decorated room is just what we needed to relax and unwind. Website gives very accurate depiction of what to expect. In hind sight I didn't realize it was that far out of town - best to take with what you need, don't depend on "quickly popping out to shops". I would HIGHLY recommend traveling with a off road/4x4 vehicle.Rooms were very clean, neat and comfortable. Stella (housekeeper) is very pleasant, friendly and helpful. All in all, definitely coming back, soon!"
