Cleopatra is a 5-star boutique getaway tucked in the KZN Drakensberg, surrounded by Giants Castle Nature Reserve. Situated on the edge of a trout filled dam, alongside the Little Mooi River.All rooms have a warm, snug bed with down duvets and pillows, crisp sheets and mohair blankets, and spectacular views.
Luxury Suites are larger than the Standard Rooms, these double bed rooms have fireplaces, tea and coffee making facilities, mini bars, TV, electric blankets, heated towel rails, ceiling fans, safes and hairdryers.
Executive Suites have a king size bed with spacious lounge and fireplace.
Executive Cottages are private units with a veranda overlooking natural wetland and stunning mountain views. Rooms have double bed with spacious lounge and fireplace.

"This was a return visit for us, and this time we brought friends with us!
The staff are really good here and you feel very welcome to the hotel. The rooms are unique and quirky, but stylish and comfortable.
The real reason to visit Cleopatra Mountain Farm is the food, which is superb! and excellent value for money. I look forward to going back to Cleopatra's soon.
Another highlight was the helicopter flight from the gardens of the farm and up and over the berg."

"The first stay in our time in ZA was at the same time one of the most stunning ones.The six course evening menu really looks for any competitor worldwide. We both love gourmet dinners and ate lots of four star menus in the course of the last years in different countries,but THIS one was a real climax!The wine cellar an experience in itself(the huge Chateau Latour 1929 plate at the cellar-entrance may speak for itself....)The cottage was just sooo lovely, all equipped with love for every minute detail,like true British country-house style at its best.Coming back from our first dinner,the fireplace was already prepared and the fire spreading a cosy light in the living room.After a stroll in the morning light into the breathtaking nature with the pond, the mountains and hills around accompanied by a nice friendly alsatian, the breakfast buffet is accompanied by a two course morning menu....We met many beautiful places in ZA, but no start could have been better!certainly worth its money "
