This boutique hotel, in the heart of the Cape Winelands, blends perfectly with its' naturally surroundings. Angala serves as a great base for exploring the winelandsand has a mix of spacious suites and cottages, all fully-equipped and private.

"We had an incredible stay at Angala Boutique Hotel and Guest House. The hospitality was warm, friendly and professional, and our suite was luxurious, spacious and oh so welcoming. We chose to dine at Angala instead of venturing out what a treat that was; we highly recommend any potential guests do the same it was a gastronomical delight. The little touches made our stay the best we have experienced so far. A big thank you to Ann and her staff for a wonderful time, we can't praise you enough. We will definitely be back!"

"A fantastic hideaway!New owners Aubrey and Lynne were fantastic.Room, lounge and bathroom were fully equiped with all luxuries!The fireplace and percale linen made our stay so comfortable and cosy.Haven't slept so late for years, and owners still kept our breakfast for us until 11am!Not quite in Franschhoek, closer to Paarl, but the bar fridge was well stocked and although we never got to have the breakfasts I am sure they are superb.Service is 100%, as is comfort, luxury and privacy! We'll definitely be going back VERY soon."

I would recommend Cathbert Country Inn to anyone who enjoys magnificent scenery, luxury accomodation, incredibly friendly and helpful owners, and absolutely magnificent food. Thank you so much. I just wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of your hospitality."
