The camp has been designed around the original 1920s traditional colonial building style, including the distinctive use of corrugated iron roofing and wide, sweeping verandas that create a backdrop of nostalgic elegance reminiscent of the early pioneers.

Dine in our boma near a fire, under a beautiful African night sky. Victorian bath and a Zanzibar daybed set in the bush with exquisite views can be booked for your exclusive experience. Guided walks, mountain bikes, quad bikes and canoes available to explore the area.
Our qualified rangers offer daily excursions into Addo Elephant National Park which is home to the Big 5. Elephant Back Safaris are also a popular off property experience.

"The views and tents are very nice. More like spacious 5 star rooms with a balcony and a great view of a large valley with nothing but greenery on it. The staff were all very helpful and pleasant. We are all meals here and they were also top quality. We really enjoyed the unexpected extras. They had a nice trail walk, there was an interesting snake handler with 5 live snakes (including a lively Cape Cobra), and they even washed our car! I highly recommend this place!"

"This is the experience of a lifetime for Americans. It is remote and elegant and has the most beautiful views and sunsets. The drive is not for the faint of heart. The staff is fascinating and educated us about Africa in ways we can't repay. Addo is inspiring as a conservation exemplar and seems less contrived than the private game reserves."
