Biesiebos B&B is tucked away neatly and quietly on a secluded panhandle in Symons Lane. It is in easy strolling distance of good restaurants, the local museum and library, art galleries and the Garden Route Botanical Gardens. The atmosphere is informal, stylish and you'll be sleeping under reed ceilings.
The bathrooms are spiffy and boast cementitious finishes. Internal doors are gleaming Oregon timber with original hardware of a bygone era. We are a small B&B so guests have the place to themselves, great for those who like privacy, also for tourists who like to meet the locals, two guest rooms mean no more than four guests at a time.
Our wonderful golf courses and golf estates are a few minutes drive away, so are the beaches of Wilderness, Victoria Bay, Herold's Bay and Glentana. Special interests include indigenous gardening, (hence the name Biesiebos - biesie being the Afrikaans vernacular for a member of the family Restionaceae, this plant family forming a unique distinguishing part of our famous Fynbos and is always represented despite tremendous variation in climate and soils.
Ann is a keen hiker and amateur botanist and can advise on suitable routes.
