"Tranquil farm setting. Friendly hosts with adorable dogs that came to say hello each day. Cottage was equipped with everything we needed. Very cosy and spacious at the same time. Nice braai area on front patio overlooking the forest. Marked forest walk along the stream, one of the dogs joined us which was lovely and we could hear the baboons deeper in. Great place to get away from the hustle of city life and just relax. Definitely check out the Big Tree attraction nearby if you enjoy walking through the forests!"

"We were very sad when we left Sunday. The location of the River Sanctuary Cottage is picture perfect. One can almost believe that there are fairies and gnomes in the forest surrounding the cottage. My husband was pleasantly surprised with the outdoor shower. The view from the shower looking towards the forest was amazing. We will definetly come back to stay at Beyond the Moon when we visit the vintage car show next year."

"Beautiful surroundings in the mountain above Wilderness, a house on a lake complete with rowing boat, and everything you could possibly want inside the house. And Astrid our hostess was great, she added an extra mattress because we were a party of eight, aged 9- 72. And on an icy winter night that fire was fantastic."
