Barbet Country Cottages

Barbet Country Cottages are situated on a farm of 520 hectares, 17 km from Clarens, with magnificent Maluti Mountain views.

Our comfortable three-bedroom cottage is partly under thatch, with a cosy sunroom fitted with a fireplace. Two bedrooms have double beds and the other bedroom has two single beds; each room can accommodate two guests. The cottage features a fully equipped kitchen and two shared bathrooms. All the beds are fitted with electric blankets and all linen and towels are supplied.

The Barbet Nest, our second cottage, is a romantic two-bedroom cottage nestled under thatch, with an open-plan kitchen. The main bedroom is fitted with a double bed and the second bedroom is fitted with two single beds. The cottage has its own private relaxing veranda and the kitchen and lounge areas are fitted with underfloor heating for your comfort. A braai area is also situated at the cottage, with wood supplied on request.

Clarens, our local village offers some excellent art and craft shops, as well as lovely restaurants and coffee shops. Trout fishing permits for many of the local dams and rivers are available. We are also an hour away from ski resorts in Lesotho and provide a perfect base for day trips into the beautiful mountain kingdom.
