"It pains me to say that our stay at Ballito Sands penthouse (upper) left a bad taste in our mouth. Admin staff were not there to meet us with the keys and we were forced to wait for close on an hour to be let in. The domestic cleaning was extremely sub-par and nothing was explained to us in terms of keys, use of jacuzzi, etc. No one bothered to even introduce themselves to us. The unit itself, although well positioned, needs serious maintenance work. There is a great deal of rust on appliances and furnishings, no shade is provided on the patio and the lock on the patio door was broken. It can be a lovely place but I would not recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing time away due to the aforementioned, easily remedied issues."

"We had a great time at the penthouse. Enjoyed the sea views, the privacy on the big balcony and the jacuzzi, had a braai and watched the sun rise over the seas. We stayed at the upper unit. I recommend the upper unit for any couple who want to enjoy the best sea views in Ballito and watch the sun rise over the seas in the morning."

"Great space, modern fittings and wonderful sea views. Only hiccup is the Solar Geyser, we had some issues with showering in the evening hence the four star rating, other then that a pristine choice, I will revisit."
