Avocet Loft offers comfortable, secure self-catering accommodation on Thesen Island in a sunny and bright first floor apartment with a private north-facing balcony.

Ideally situated within walking distance of the Waterfront, local restaurants and shops. Enjoy the beauty and many facilities of Thesen Island, which include a private beach, chip and putt golf course, squash court and nature walks. We offer use of a double canoe and a tandem bike, so you can explore the area.

While staying you can enjoy all the beautiful attractions that Knysna has to offer such as evening cruises on the lagoon while watching the sun go down, riding an elephant at the Knysna Elephant Park or taking a drive to the Heads to take in the beautiful views.

Whether you are here for an adventure or just a romantic getaway you will find everything you need right on your doorstep. We also have a safe lock-up area to store your bikes if you are using Knysna as base for a cycling event.
