Absolute Beach is perfectly positioned directly on the breath taking Britannia Bay beach. We offer a comfortable and unique self-catering accommodation that affords guest the ultimate West Coast experience. Welcome to your new home away from home.
The house itself is a blend of stylish interiors and creature comforts, which include a multitude of living areas designed to enhance your overall beach experience. We offer seven en-suite rooms of different types, making it easier to accommodate the requirements of your group (2 people per room max). All of our rooms have stunning sea views allowing guests to take in the waves from the comfort of their beds.
The main kitchen space is fully equipped with cutlery & crockery and includes a fridge, microwave, dishwasher, hob and oven. The secondary kitchen is equipped with a fridge and tea & coffee station. Absolute Beach has two main communal lounges, which have Netflix TVs and DSTV (Family Package), to relax in and an amazing upstairs veranda space to take in the breath taking view. We are equipped with both a washing machine and tumble dryer for your convenience.
There are two braai areas to choose from, which include braai grids, stands and tongs. We include some wood to get you started and have more for sale if it is required. We have a small plunge pool, perfect for the warm summer days and a cosy firepot for the cooler winter months.
Whether it be lounging on the beach, catching a wave, enjoying some birding, watching the whales jumping, or warming up next to a crackling fire, guests will have the opportunity to unwind and discover the true magic of the South African West Coast.

"Loved my stay here. I booked the top king room, which was perfect because I had a private little balcony that I could relax on and enjoy the view in the evening. House is on the beachfront, so the views are beautiful and the sound of the waves rolling in, in the morning was so relaxing. The home owners were really hospitable. Really a lovely, tranquil stay."

"Idyllic, rustic, romantic, and most important..... Welcoming! We booked x2 rooms for x2 couples with not a lot of expectations as we would only be staying the x1 night. BIG MISTAKE! We should have booked a month. From the Moroccan meets Beach dcor, to the white sandy beach right at your own little doorstep..... Bliss! Proper tea, coffee, sugar, milk and home made rusk. We even got freshly backed mini-muffins while we waited for our breakfast fit for a king. Marina & Duncan was meant to run a guest house. They have it down to a T. And how can we not mention Watson.... The most well behaved and loving pooch keeping you company and running off to the beach. We will be promoting your home away from home. Thank you so much guys!"

A lovely hosting family, fresh & coolyet cosy, a stunning location and glorious views - there is absolutely nothing negative to say. Loved the warmth of the welcome and the lovely breakfast, the coolness and style of my room (Room 5 - ideal for a single traveller), the sounds of the ocean as lullaby, and enjoying complimentary coffee and rusks in the mist with the rising sun - an absolute winner!My only regret?
