"What a well equipped and authentic character filled cottage. The hostess even dropped us off some fresh farm baked bread. The surrounding farm lands are beautiful and De Hoop nature reserve was close by. The reserve is beautiful. Great hikes and views. A lovely beach with warm seas. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage thoroughly."

"Get away from everything!"

"Spacious farm cottage with everything you need to get away from it all. No tv, no radio, no cell phone reception in the cottage, so all you can do is eat, sleep and read! Close to De Hoop for wonderful whale-watching, and to Malgas, for crossing the Breede River on the pontoon. The cottage is on a working farm with fascinating activities. The canola fields must be lovely in August. Many small pools where you can spend hours watching birds. Would love to go again!"
