"The service there was amazing the room was beautiful and we loved the fact that they really used the wetlands landscape to add to the atmosphere of the place. We were only able to stay one night but would definitely be back to stay longer.Mellanie and Alwyn Smit"

"On arrival no-one to meet & greet and it was after 2pm. When we were shown to our room well what a disaster. Beds very old and uncomfortable, borer on the four poster bed that kept dropping on the bed. Old bathroom no curtains holes in bathroom walls shower pressure very bad. Then to top it all the electricity in our room had a fault so had flickering lights all night like being in a disco. No a pleasant stay was suppose to stay 2 nights but cancelled 2nd night. Breakfast was the only pleasant experience at this lodge."

"We spent six nights and found the lodge entirely satisfactory. The room was clean and well funished. Breakfast was good and the staff helpful and friendly. It's within easy walking distance of shops, restaurants etc and a good base for exploring the local area."
"A little piece of paradise"

"We loved this lodge, and especially the lush tropical garden. Lovely location, at the end of the main road, very quiet and romantic yet within walking distance of the restaurants. The main house and the room was beautifully furnished and decorated, it feels more like staying at a friend's house than at a hotel. Unfortunately we didn't see the hippos that visit the garden at night (if you want to wait for them, don't forget your moskito spray). Since we enjoy sleeping in, we especially appreciated the late breakfast time (until 10 a.m. - at most places 9 a.m. is the deadline). Saint Lucia is a wonderful place and this lodge is very good value for money, we loved it and recommend it."

"It was my first time in St Lucia and I had great time in town. However, the staff of St Lucia Kingfisher Lodge make it even better because they were very helpful and friendly."
