"Not what it promises. Definitely not for a business trip. Fittings and fixtures are old and worn out."

"How Hobbit got five stars I do not know."

"Positive: The personell are friendly. The breakfast is good. Negative: We stayed for four nights in the room Legolas which is dirty. The bathroom was never cleaned. The window sills are filthy and the paintwork is third class. The carpet is not vacuumed and the paintwork on the skirtings are either not done or in a very bad condition. Service after breakfast, e.g. to receive friends/colleagues is not possible. One star perhaps."
"Warm hospitality"

"What a difference from the ordinary run of the mill overnight accommodation! Herman proved to be the perfect host and on arrival went out of his way to make us feel at home. He reccomended a splended Restaurant within walking distance from the HOBBIT, the suite was very comfortable, cosy and clean and we specially enjoyed the cosy historical ambience of the old building. A special pleasure was the excellent breakfast, the pristine, crisp white table linen and the topclass coffee! One aspect which should be included on the website, is the fact that older people will find the narrow staircase to the upperfloor rooms and suites, difficult to handle and should therefore be given the choice of downstairs accommodation as well."
"Not up to standard"

"The room was not up to standard. No shower. Only a small bath. Went to another place and forfeited my deposit. Will not recommend this to anyone."
