Overview
Biesiebos B&B is tucked away neatly and quietly on a secluded panhandle in Symons Lane. It is in easy strolling distance of good restaurants, the local museum and library, art galleries and the Garden Route Botanical Gardens. The atmosphere is informal, stylish and you'll be sleeping under reed ceilings.

The bathrooms are spiffy and boast cementations finishes. Internal doors are gleaming Oregon timber with original hardware of a bygone era. We are a small B&B so guests have the place to themselves, great for those who like privacy, also for tourists who like to meet the locals, two guest rooms mean no more than four guests at a time.

Our wonderful golf courses and golf estates are a few minutes drive away, so are the beaches of Wilderness, Victoria Bay, Herold's Bay and Glentana. Special interests include indigenous gardening, (hence the name Biesiebos Biesie being the Afrikaans vernacular for a member of the family Restionaceae. This plant family forms a unique distinguishing part of our famous Fynbos and is always represented despite tremendous variation in climate and soils. Also good wholesome food, so do mention any special dietary needs when booking. Ann is a keen hiker and can advise on suitable routes and provide a picnic to take along.

Accommodation offered: Two purpose-built, elegantly furnished en-suite guest rooms each with sliding doors to its own patio in a lush garden setting. Silverriet' has a twin beds and luxurious, spacious full bathroom with separate shower and bidet. Kanet has two single beds, gleaming wooden floors and en suite shower.

"Would you go back there?"

"Friendly hostess, but kitchen living area of house is adjacent to room and a bit noisy. Further disappointment was that the booked room was not available. Strangely a B&B without breakfast makes no sense."

"The accommodation was cosy, home away from home. My wife liked the place as much as I did. Ann recommended places for us to visit."

"I envy backyard dwellers. Within urban boundaries, but no sight of city life, just sounds. Great garden with mountain views. Feels like home."
