"Saved by the stunning location"

"I was rather disappointed at what we arrived to at this beautiful location. We knew that the Beach House was "rustic", but encountered a number of maintenance and hygiene problems which I do not expect to find in a house at this price. Some examples are:* The wastepaper bin in the main bathroom/bedroom still contained the previous visitors' garbage. * The filter in the dishwasher was blocked with food from previous use and had not been cleaned. * Dirty swimming pool with dirty filter. We had to service and clean it on arrival.* We had to fix dangerous protruding rusted nails on the front deck.* Misrepresentation of the splash pool as a swimming pool in deceptive photographs.* Outside firepit was still filthy after previous use.* All kinds of mismatched and badly chipped crockery and glassware were not enough for a house that should be able to provide for six guests. In general the setting of the house is superb and despite the above disappointments, we enjoyed the house, the terrific views and the close proximity to bush and beach."

"One of my favourite holidays, walking distance to an amazing beach. The outside layout of the house is a huge positive, there was an area for us to hang out no matter what the weather presented. Sitting on the front deck at the end of the day watching the sun set over the sea was some of the most memorable times we've ever had!"
