"We had a wonderful stay at Ashfield. It is the ideal place to stay for a family. Tim and Sonia were extremely friendly and helpful. The house is clean and serviced regularly. The beds are very comfortable, always a plus when in need of a good rest. They can invest in some extra and new couches in the lounge but we still had a great stay.We fell in love with Hogsback!Christo and Lindy"

"It was basic but clean. It was freezing so the wood for the fire was appreciated! The heating in the rooms wasn't much helping, but the electric blankets were great!"

"We arrived late on Friday evening. Tim had lit a fire and prepared our cottage for us. He was happy to supply enough wood, keeping us really cozy the whole weekend. There were also plenty of extra blankets, heaters, electric blankets and even hot water bottles if needed. A weekend we will remember."

"March 2014 family stay"

"We stayed in the cottage as an extended family of 7 persons. 5 adults, 1 child and a toddler. The bedrooms were comfortable, the sheets clean. There are two bathrooms which is great when there are so many of you. We had a lovely log fire on the one night (the other days were too warm because we had a bit of a heat wave). The kitchen is well equipped and we catered for ourselves as planned. Ashfield Lodge was really great and homely. Everyone enjoyed their stay and was sad to have to go back home. This was our second stay there and it will not be the last either!"
